Tenant representative

As a Tenant Representative you would work with your Community Engagement Officer to ensure your neighbourhood is a safe, friendly and tidy place to live, and you will help us to deliver a service that addresses local issues in your neighbourhood.

Key roles

  • To report poor service from contractors
  • To report communal repairs
  • To report any anti-social behaviour or anything that poses a risk to other tenants in your neighbourhood

Required skills

  • Communications skills via phone or email
  • Positive and objective outlook

Training and support

To be a Tenant Representative you do not require any formal training.

Level of commitment

The role of a Tenant Representative is very flexible, and as such the level of commitment can vary a lot. You could volunteer as little as a few minutes each month to provide Platform with periodic updates, or you could spend several hours each month working on community projects.
